Taylor Kothe, Master’s Level Clinical Intern
Practicing Since: 2024
Taylor strives to create a space of empathy, understanding, and trust. He hopes for clients to feel that he is on their side and working with them toward a solution. He has their best interest at heart, and loves working with clients to help get to the root issue of their problems. Taylor believes true, long-lasting life change occurs when a person heals the root issue- not just the surface issue.
Therapy is not a place for judgment, but a place for growth. Often growth can be a painful process, but in the end it is worth it. Each person is different and has different needs. As a counselor, Taylor hopes to help his clients find relief from their problems. That relief could come by replacing negative thought patterns or addressing deep-seeded issues or beliefs. As a counselor, Taylor wants to help guide his clients towards freedom.
Taylor was recently married in the Fall of 2023, and in his free time, enjoys both playing and watching sports, and hiking.
Taylor Kothe is under the clinical supervision of Wendy Kelly, LCSW-C, Maryland (#13394).
