Kamiylah Lawson, MSN, CRNP-PMH

Kamiylah received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Coppin State University in 2014. After graduating she worked as a registered nurse at Sheppard Pratt Health System in Towson. In 2017 she broadened her work experience as a critical care nurse at MedStar Franklin Square. During her tenure at Franklin Square, she transferred to the inpatient adult psychiatric unit where she worked until returning to school to further her education. She was admitted into the graduate program at the University of Pennsylvania. While at UPenn, she attended clinicals at Philadelphia Hospital, Penn Presbyterian Hospital, and Elwyn behavioral health outpatient services. After obtaining her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2020 she returned to Baltimore to pursue her career as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She worked as an inpatient attending at Sheppard Pratt Health System in Towson until 2023. She now works as an Outpatient Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner seeing patients across the lifespan.
